Foundation Course
10-17 July 2027 with Johannes Källman
Taught in English
During the Foundation Course week we pass the 17 Vedic Principles of Art and Life. The starting point is your own inner motivation. You put pen to paper and then the creation process goes into full expansion. It is very simple. The only thing that can be a bit difficult is to stop painting! You always book the entire course going for a week from Saturday to Saturday.
The Foundation Course is for you who have not done Vedic Art courses before or only gone through parts of the Foundation Course. Foundation Courses on Öland always follow the original program that the founder of Vedic Art, Curt Källman, created. No prior art experience is required to attend the course.
Feel free to bring your own painting material or visit the local Vedic Art Artist Shop. Colors and painting materials are not included in the course fee. Painting material such as acrylic paint, canvases, brushes and other tools can thus be bought on site. Källman’s own wonderful tempera paint will also be available for purchase. All you actually need to bring is yourself!
Course fee: €490. The course includes access to the Art Studio from Saturday night to Saturday morning.

Deepening of Principle 15 &16
24-31 jULY - 2027 WITH JOHANNES KÄLLMAN
Taught in English
Deepening of Principle 15 & 16 - The End is Found in the Beginning.
Bringing the creative process to fulfillment. We explore the timing of the end and the insights we can find in this phase of development. It is about achieving a process and a result in your creation—without being bound by it. At the end of the creative process lies the bridge to the next journey, where new wisdom, insight, and creative energy await. This is a course about the space in between: the space between a completed cycle and a new one taking root. We travel along many rivers of art throughout our creative lives—in this course, we weave them together.
Letting Go. Free yourself from attachment to that which is already finished.Evolving Your Creative Expression. Learn to navigate the space between your old and your new expression—whether the change occurs as a gradual transition or a sharp turn toward something completely new.
